I am a retired medical imaging engineer with a life long passion for tools and machinery. I have been collecting and using tools since I was about 10 years old. Now in my seventies I still find all tools and machinery fascinating.

I started collecting tools when I was introduced to Meccano as a small boy. My father was a mechanical engineer who showed me how to use tools to assembly my Meccano models.

I left school at 15 to start an apprenticeship as an electrician and needed tools for my job so the collection in ernest began.
